Soul Boys of the Western World Tour
Spandau Ballet are one of Britain’s big bands symbols, formed by a group of friends with dreams of celebrity in the late ‘70s, that from its beginnings has sold over 25 million records, obtained numerous platinum albums and 23 world-wide hit singles.
Not much time passed before they became full titled members of the iconic Blitz Club and established themselves as one of the best groups of the ’80s.
After 20 years of absence the group reformed in 2009 for a tour that marked all sold-outs. “Soul Boys of the Western World” documents for the first time their history.
Now they are together again for the first time after Reformation, the tour that finally saw the band back together in 2009/2010.
Fresh from the success of Sanremo with the song “Grande Amore” the three young vocal talents, Piero Garone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginobile arrive at the Puccini Festival (12 and 13 August) accompanied by a trail of successes that has seen them to perform on some of the most important world-wide stages despite their young age.
