A new production with the aim to portray the moving and tragic story of Cio Cio San that culminates in her death, resolved to die as a proud daughter of the Rising Sun.
Madama Butterfly, one of the Maestro’s most popular operas, captivates audiences worldwide with the poetry and drama that characterize the love story of the unfortunate geisha. It is set to grace the stage at the Puccini Festival for four performances, featuring an intriguing interpretation by Pier Luigi Pizzi, who both directs the performance and designs the sets and costumes.
