The Giacomo Puccini Open-Air Theatre is situated in the Giacomo Puccini Park of Music and Sculpture, the creation of which (in 2008) represents one of the most significant initiatives in the field of cultural policy in Tuscany in recent decades.

The new theatre, constructed from concrete, wood and glass, covers an area of 7,500 square metres: the Arena seats 3,370 spectators, whilst the auditorium below has a capacity of around 400 seats.
