Donating 5 per thousand costs nothing! It involves no additional costs, but is a meaningful way to help promote and preserve the great heritage of Puccini’s musical theatre. It does not replace the 8 per thousand scheme, and you can opt into both schemes.

Take advantage of the ArtBonus and support the Fondazione Festival Pucciniano
Art Bonus is a practical scheme designed to support the arts, culture and live entertainment sectors, offering significant tax benefits to both individuals and businesses.
Donations made in support of the Fondazione Festival Pucciniano are eligible for a tax credit amounting to 65% of the donated sum; this tax incentive is designed to encourage private funding for the arts.
Furthermore, the Region of Tuscany has made the scheme more attractive by stipulating that Tuscan donors are entitled to an IRAP tax credit (regional tax on productive activities).
The tax credit is available to: business owners, up to a limit of 5 per thousand of annual turnover, and to individuals and non-commercial entities, up to a limit of 15 per cent of taxable income; it is divided into three equal annual instalments, which may be claimed via the F24 form from the tax year following that in which the payment was made.
In order to qualify for the tax credit, the payment must be made as follows:
- bank or postal transfer;
- credit card, debit card or prepaid card;
- banker’s drafts and circular cheques.
