But who is this Puccini?

11:00 am | Auditorium Enrico Caruso

It will be the writer Simone Dini Gandini who will narrate to the students of the Istituto Comprensivo di Torre del Lago about the charismatic figure of Giacomo Puccini and trace all the significant stages of his glorious artistic life; a story that starts from his beginnings as a young student at the Conservatory of Milan, to his first successes, to his choice to live in Torre del Lago to cultivate his passions and live in contact with nature, up to his international acclaim and his untimely death. The actor Renato Raimo, who has already dressed the Maestro’s shoes in the play l’Altro Giacomo, will dialogue with Simone Dini Gandini. During the meeting, excerpts from the play l’Altro Giacomo will be shown, interspersed with musical moments; Renato Raimo will play the role of Giacomo Puccini, Maria Chiara Battaglia the role of Elvira, Marco Miglietta Tenor, Rachael Stellaci Soprano, accompanied on the piano by Massimo Salotti

An initiative that also marks the collaboration with the Istituto Comprensivo di Torre del Lago, which in its educational programmes for the 2022 and 2023 school year has chosen to stimulate in its students the awareness and knowledge of the great cultural heritage of which our territory is the custodian.
