A special treat for all friends of the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago: listen to this restored recording featuring the actual voice of GIACOMO PUCCINI.

Thanks to the use of advanced artificial intelligence software, we were able to clean up and restore this rare recording, which we officially presented in 2023 in New York at NYU Casa Italiana.

In the clip, the Maestro expresses his gratitude for the warm welcome he has received in the United States and bids farewell to the audience with an iconic farewell:

“I would like to thank Mr Viafora most sincerely for his kind words. I am truly grateful to the people of New York for the enthusiastic reception they have given my works. I accept your good wishes for a safe journey and conclude by shouting: ‘America Forever!”
